Review a landowner mailing before placing the order

Use a saved CRM recipient list to prepare a mailing in Pillar. Choose or upload the design, inspect the addresses and preview, then review the credit cost before confirming the order.

  1. Choose recipients from the pursuit list

Select the projects or saved list you want to contact and review the proposed recipients. Make sure the mailing relates to the intended property and owner record. If several projects point to the same recipient, inspect the selection before proceeding so the campaign reflects the outreach you intend.

  2. Check the design and personalized fields

Choose an existing design, create one, or upload your own. Inspect the preview and the information filled from the selected records. For uploaded HTML designs, personalized variables can be previewed; PDFs are sent as uploaded. Keep your return address and contact details clear in the piece.

  3. Confirm the addresses and cost

Review the final mailable recipients and credit quote. Address availability can affect who is eligible to receive the piece. After placing the order, check its status before expecting a production, delivery, or cancellation option. Create a follow-up task on the acquisition record to keep responses connected to the pursuit.

Questions to settle early

Which accounts can create a new mailing?

Direct mail requires Pro or an active trial and uses credits. Free users can review existing orders. The current help page explains trial allowances and access before a new order is created.

Can I cancel after confirming the order?

Cancellation and production options depend on the order's status. Inspect the available action on the order rather than assuming every submitted piece can be stopped.
