Build an acquisition list your team can work through
A useful lead list starts with a defined search area and a buy box. Use Pillar to research matching parcels, inspect the results, and save the candidates that deserve owner follow-up.
Translate the buy box into search criteria
Specify the county, city, or drawn area, then add the acreage range and available property or owner filters. Keep requirements separate from preferences. For example, start with vacant parcels between 10 and 30 acres in one county, then investigate which results merit a closer review of access and land-use context.
Review the result table before contacting owners
Inspect parcel identities, reported acreage, and available ownership fields. Several parcels can share an owner, and one development site can span several records. Decide whether the next step belongs to an individual parcel, an assemblage, or an owner conversation before turning rows into projects.
Give the shortlist a durable home
Save selected included parcels to CRM and assign the first research or contact task. Use the result card's Save action when you need permanent retention of a generated dataset with Pro. If you export a list, keep the search area and criteria with the file so the team can reproduce its scope later.
Questions to settle early
Are saving a dataset and saving parcels to CRM the same action?
They serve different purposes. The result card's Save action retains the generated dataset with Pro. Saving included selected parcels from the table creates CRM records within your plan's project allowance.
Can I export every result?
Export row limits depend on the plan. Free, trial, and Pro monthly have different allowances; Pro Annual removes those row caps. Check the current results documentation before planning a large handoff.
